WHAT IS A HIGH CUBE CONTAINER?

The short answer is that a High Cube container is slightly higher than a regular shipping container, regardless of length. This means that a High Cube container has a higher capacity.

A High Cube container is primarily for the transport of one-piece goods by sea, these containers can easily be transshipped onto barges and trucks. The shipping container is also known as a storage container, for storage of materials on site.

WHAT IS A 40FT HC CONTAINER?

40FT HC container is short for 40 Foot High Cube container. A High Cube container has a height of 2,7m. Compared to a standard 40FT shipping container which has a height of 2,4m, a High Cube container is slightly higher than a standard container. Both 40 HC containers and standard 40FT containers have a length of 12 meters.
